OCEAS, LLC:
PRODUCT ENGINEERING
Product Engineer
June 2018 - Present
As a product engineer at Oceas, a startup focusing on innovative outdoor equipment, I took charge in designing, engineering, and producing a novel mechanical pop-up tent for camping. Working on a team with three other engineers, I developed conceptual diagrams, 3D models (SolidWorks, AutoDesk Fusion 360), and physical prototypes to develop our tent through the research, design, prototyping, manufacturing, and production stages.
THEMED ENTERTAINMENT ASSOCIATION @ UCLA
Vice President
May 2018 - Present
The Themed Entertainment Association at UCLA is a brand new branch of the International Themed Entertainment Association. My role as Vice President allows me to build professional development programs for students interested in the themed entertainment industry. Our organization independently organizes industry career fairs, networking nights, professional guest talks, theme park design competitions, and other programs largely within the Los Angeles area.
UCLA ALUMNI MENTOR PROGRAM
Executive Director
June 2017 - June 2018
The Alumni Mentor Program is an alumni association program that pairs over 2000 UCLA students with alumni from hundreds of backgrounds and industries during the academic year. As executive director, I oversaw every aspect of the program's development. My team and I produced professional development workshops, Bruin leadership panels, virtual events, and online resources to guide student-mentor interactions throughout the academic year.
UCLA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Alumni Scholars Club Executive Board
October 2015 - June 2018
The Alumni Scholars Club is an honors society for students heavily involved in the UCLA campus and alumni communities. As a student executive board member, I allocated funding and resources from the alumni association into targeted programs for students in the areas of academic development, volunteerism, research, and professional development. I've served in the roles of Outreach coordinator, director of Scholar Relations, and director of the UCLA Alumni Mentor Program during my three years on the executive board.
ANIMATION
Stop Motion Animation
Computer Animation
My primary experience in animation stems from multiple laboratories taken in stop-motion animation, in which I produced a series of shorts and 30-second projects over the course of multiple academic quarters. I've worked on puppet and set fabrication, lighting, and track reading, among other categories. As part of my curriculum, I worked extensively with software including Maya, Dragonframe, Blender, and Adobe Photoshop, among others.
